The Cinemates Film Club- "12 Angry Men"

Join us for another Film Club event dedicated to one of the top rates IMDb movies, 1957 American legal drama film "12 Angry Men".

Plot: The jury in a New York City murder trial is frustrated by a single member whose sceptical caution forces them to more carefully consider the evidence before jumping to a hasty verdict.

It is known for its deep exploration of justice, prejudice, human nature and reasonable doubt.

In 2007, it was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant". Additionally, it was selected as the second-best courtroom drama ever (after 1962's To Kill a Mockingbird) by the American Film Institute for their AFI's 10 Top 10 list.

We will not watch the movie but discuss it, so ideally you watch it before.
