The South River Vineyard and Winery might be situated in Geneva - an area already famous for its wineries and vineyards - but it remains under the radar. Many people have never heard of it.

Hidden away and surrounded by undulating acres of colorful vineyards, it is a natural beauty to behold. The main bar is in a converted church with an outdoor patio boasting Roman-style pillars (see photos).

🍷 South River Vineyard is a family-owned boutique winery sitting on 140 acres in the Grand River Valley AVA (American Viticultural Area).

⛪ Know us as the “church winery” because the winery is housed in a century-old church, now operating as a boutique winery since 2002. South River Vineyard has established itself as a quiet, relaxing, and unique place to enjoy a fantastic view of the vineyards with quality wine and good company, located just 50 miles east of Cleveland.

🍇They encourage guests to stroll through the vineyards with their wines. Relax and sit on the veranda, cozy up by the outdoor fireplace in the rustic pavilion, or enjoy the view from their new rooftop pavilion.

🌟 Plan Your Visit: South River Vineyard does not sell food but welcomes guests to bring their own picnic food. ​Picnic baskets, bagged meals, and ordering in pizza 🍕 is okay - but it's a no on large coolers.

Please drink responsibly and keep an eye out for deer when you drive home. It is really rural!
