A cult classic from 1982, this is a can't miss film for fans of science fiction, Harrison Ford, darkness, Ridley Scott, Vangelis, the year 2019, seedy Los Angeles and Sean Young (who went to Cleveland Heights High School).

Here is the film synopsis:

"In the smog-choked dystopian Los Angeles of 2019, blade runner Rick Deckard is called out of retirement to terminate a quartet of replicants who have escaped to Earth seeking their creator for a way to extend their short life spans."

We will meet in the lobby area at 6:25 pm - which is 15 minutes prior to the screening. I recommend eating a snack before you come. After the film we will head on over to India Flame across the street to discuss the film and enjoy some delicious curry dishes.

Free parking is available behind the CIA building in Lot 73 as well as in the annex lot. Both of these parking lots are easily accessed from East 117th Street off of Euclid Avenue. Please use Entrance C or Entrance A to enter the building.

The Cleveland Cinematheque is located inside of the Cleveland Institute of Art (and not the Cleveland Museum of Art).

Let's get some sci-fi classic culture!
