While the National scene is totally frustrating about climate change there is still a lot we can do on the state and local level and this group will!
A panel will describe how to make use of the Federal Tax Credit for home energy, which expires at the end of this year. The panel of experts will also discuss the benefits of a home energy audit, insulation, weatherization, double pane windows, heat pump or solar panels…where to begin? There are a huge amount of Federal Credits that expire at the end of the year and then new State items coming online in 2026 which can make this affordable for people. There are also things that renters can do. The panel and the small group discussion afterwards will help you decide what steps are right for your home. Each event has support group time designed to build a community of resilience among our attenders.
