This month, Climate Coffee Valencia will take place at the Global Sports Innovation Center (GSIC) in Valencia, a sports innovation hub based in La Harinera that brings together startups, companies, institutions, and industry leaders to test new ideas, explore partnerships, and accelerate innovation across sport, health, media, and technology. GSIC plays a growing role in Valencia’s innovation ecosystem by connecting local and international players working at the intersection of sport and tech.
Climate Coffee Valencia is part of Climate Coffee, a fast-growing, community-driven series of informal monthly meetups for people working in or interested in climate tech and climate impact. The initiative brings together founders, investors, operators, scientists, students, and anyone curious about the space to connect, exchange ideas, and build relationships in a relaxed café setting.
Launched in late 2023, Climate Coffee was created to support and accelerate the climate tech ecosystem by fostering meaningful in-person connections. Events are intentionally open and accessible, welcoming everyone from experienced professionals to newcomers. They take place on the last Thursday of each month from 8:30 to 10:00 AM, providing a consistent, informal forum for discussion and collaboration around climate innovation.
Climate Coffee has rapidly expanded from its origins in Madrid to dozens of cities across Europe and beyond, including Valencia, Barcelona, London, Berlin, Paris, and Amsterdam, attracting thousands of members and becoming a key grassroots network within the global climate tech community. Each city has its own local organizers, helping ensure that every meetup reflects and strengthens the local ecosystem while remaining part of a broader international network.
In Valencia, Climate Coffee serves as a regular gathering point for the city’s growing climate and impact community, creating a space for conversations, partnerships, and new ideas that support the transition to a more sustainable future.
