We will be playing, analyzing, and dissecting a game as a group this session! COGG will provide the hardware and the game that we will be playing, then we can break it apart as a group to see what works and what doesn't work.
This is a great exercise to do as a independent or professional game developer. What makes a game a success? What makes a game fail? What tricks did the developer do to make the game engaging? What could they have done better? Many companies analyze games and ask these questions on a regular basis. And as game developers, we do this mentally when playing games ourselves.
