What we’re about
The Committee (of Birds, Hearts, Strangers, Dogs, Singers, Dancers, Actors, Next-door-neighbors) is the beginning of an experimental, music theater and opera company. For everyone and anyone who can show up.
I am an opera director based in Berlin. I make things about countries that only exist in nighttime, spiritual flight of all kinds, bringing the sky to the earth. I am calling for you, whoever you are, who may be similarly serious & interested in laughing, professionally, and finding ways of making music theater.
Join if you are open, curious and willing to hop on the train.
Join for camaraderie in your own dreaming and imagining of an otherwise.
Please, though, when you do join, send a little note of what you have been finding beautiful in your most recent present and a little about where you are at in your creative or non-creative, organized or disorganized life.
We meet weekly to try and find a language.
