About us
The Compost Collective is a space for anyone curious about turning food scraps into soil, whether you are a seasoned gardener with a sprawling backyard system or a city dweller trying to figure out how to manage a small worm bin in an apartment. We started this group because we believe that composting is a simple, practical way to reduce our waste and connect more deeply with the natural cycles around us, but it is much more fun to learn and troubleshoot when you have a community to talk to.
Our meetups are designed to be low-key and conversational. We get together once a month to swap tips, share resources, and help one another navigate the inevitable challenges of compost piles and bins. Whether you want to troubleshoot a batch that is not heating up or you just want to meet some like-minded neighbors who share an interest in sustainability, you are more than welcome to pull up a chair. We look forward to meeting you and seeing how we can grow our local soil together.
