Arroyo Verde Hike

Let's go on a hike for the first meetup. This is a great park for hiking since there are multiple trails and levels of difficulty. They also recently cleared the pathway so it's wider. This will be a beginner's level hike since we'll be taking the easier path around the lower perimeter of the park. I'll figure out where to meet and post it here before the event.

Bring enough water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, and dress in layers. There are 2 restrooms spots, one at the first parking lot and the second one at the second parking lot.

If you park in the lots it's $3 but there is also street parking for free on Foothill Rd and Day Rd.

Please be aware that we are sharing the trails with local wildlife, including rattlesnakes, mountain lions, ticks and poisonous plants.
