The Convo Scene

Welcome to The Convo Scene - a fresh, low-pressure community designed to help people take a break from their phones and get back to sharing, listening, and reconnecting again in a genuine way.

Less awkward small talk. We stay away from chatting about politics, work talk, and news. Here, we focus on the stuff that actually matters: joys, fears, dreams, wishes, weird ideas, wild hopes, and the moments that make us human.

I'll find spaces in Loveland and Fort Collins, CO that provide a comfortable atmosphere and offer non-alcoholic drinks and food items. I'd love to hear your suggestions as well!

I will offer topic tips and icebreaker cards to get the convo started and we will have a timer to allow everyone the chance to switch tables and meet multiple people throughout the night. You can hang in pairs, talk in a small groups or 1:1 depending on your comfort level and the plan for the evening. Changing it up makes it more fun and allows your skills to improve. :)

During these groups - your phone gets a social break too!
Put it on silent, tuck it in your bag, and let your thumbs take a vacation while your voice does the connecting. (We promise your notifications will survive.)

Throughout the evening, we’ll pause briefly for a little group reflection:

• What did you notice about yourself?

• What surprised you?

• What felt awkward (in a good way)?

• Which question stuck with you?

This isn’t a workshop, it’s a vibe - part social hangout, part emotional reset, and part rebuilding community.
My goal is simple: help people get back into face-to-face connection with curiosity, kindness, and courage.

Come as you are. Bring your whole self. Leave with a story, a new perspective, improved social skills, and maybe a new friend!
