Hike: Knocknabro & Knocknagowan Mountain Loop Walk
Details
Another Day, Another Hike: Kerry Edition (Knocknabro & Knocknagowan Loop)
Because clearly, our knees haven't complained enough this month, we’re heading to Kingdom Come (aka County Kerry) to conquer the Knocknabro and Knocknagowan Mountain Loop!
Will there be stunning views? Absolutely. Will you question your life choices halfway up a 506m elevation gain? Almost certainly. But hey, that’s what group pressure and high-protein snacks are for.
The Nitty-Gritty Details:
*Date: Sunday, 18th October
- Time: 11:30 AM sharp (Irish time, so try not to be too late)
*Distance: 12 km loop - Expected Time: 3–4 hours (depending on how many photos we stop to take)
*Elevation Gain: 506 m - Difficulty: Moderate (A decent workout, but you won't need oxygen tanks)
Survival Kit (Must-Haves):
*Hiking Boots: Ankle support is your best friend; leave the box-fresh white runners at home. - Waterproofs: It’s Kerry. It could be sunny, raining, and hailing all within a 20-minute window.
*Food & Water: Pack enough fuel to bribe yourself to keep walking. - A sense of humor: Crucial for when the wind hits your face sideways.
Come for the cardio, stay for the banter. See you on the trail!
