Knot 3 The Fool's Journey

The tarot cards are widely used within Wicca, but many are unaware of the reason for the selection of the 22 images of the major arcana that form the heart of this tradition. The 22 images are connected with a single key and this will be discussed in this talk.

In this knot, or lesson, we look in detail at the connections between the tarot cards and the grail legends, and how this knowledge affects their usage in divinatory practice. We will also look at the reason for the movement of the strength card to position 8, from position 11, in many modern decks and the implications of this switch in understanding hidden meanings in the tarot deck.

This is the third knot in the series of knots, however anyone can attend, both Full and Associate Members. You will need to have attended the first three knots to join the main 13 knots course. Joining this course will allow you to progress to Knot 4, however the first three knots can be completed in any order.
