Sometimes, the hardest part of feeling lonely is simply admitting that you would like some company.
Empty Chairs is a worldwide movement built around a simple idea: an empty chair is an invitation. An invitation to sit down, meet someone new, share a conversation, listen, laugh, and feel a little less alone.
Join us for a relaxed evening at Mr Toad’s Pub. There is no agenda, no pressure to perform, and no expectation that you must share anything deeply personal. Come for a drink, a meal, a conversation—or simply to be around other people.
You may attend alone. In fact, that is the whole point. The empty chairs will be waiting for you.
This gathering is for anyone who:
• Has been feeling lonely or disconnected
• Would like to make new friends
• Is new to the UAE or rebuilding their social circle
• Wants meaningful conversation beyond small talk
• Simply does not want to spend Saturday evening alone
