Welcome to The Creative Cafe Meetup. Our group is a relaxed, inspirational, safe and friendly atmosphere dedicated to fostering creativity among writers and all those who are passionate about the arts. Offering feedback or sharing your work is optional.
Whether you're a seasoned artist or simply someone who loves to be inspired by the arts, our community is here to encourage and celebrate creativity in all its forms.
The Creative Café is FREE but any purchase to help support the Sleeping Cat Bakery is appreciated, so come join us and participate, or sit back and relax quietly with a book, a cup of coffee, or a slice of pie in the company of fellow travelers!

MONDAYS
4:00 pm—4:30 pm: Intros and Chit Chat
4:30 pm—5:30 pm: Share work, Feedback, Sit and Read or Write
5:30 pm—6:00 pm: Outros and Chit Chat
Nearest train: #1 to 18th Street and 7th Avenue but you can also take:
The F to 14th or 23rd street and 6th Avenue; the A, C, E to 14th street and 8th Avenue; the C, E to 23rd and 8th Avenue; the L to 14th street and 8th Avenue.
*Members who RSVP and then don’t show up without canceling RSVP, or who RSVP and don’t show up 3 times in a row, or who are regularly inactive will be gently removed to make room for new members who can attend. This is not a “ban” and you may rejoin at any time.
