Graphic Design & Collage Workshop #9

Hello! And welcome to the Portal : )

Note: This workshop is purely on donation basis in order to keep the barrier of entry as low as possible for beginners. The official value of the workshop however is 10 Euros - you are free to contribute as much as you like.
Your donation directly helps with resources and logistics needed for future events.

About the Workshop:
This workshop is open to anyone interested in Graphic Design. It’s perfect for beginners who want to explore and start learning new skills, as well as for practicing graphic designers looking to apply their existing skills in a creative environment.
During the Workshop we are going to learn and apply the Principles of Graphic Design by directly putting them into practice by creating a Collage.
There will also be space for questions regarding how to learn Graphic Design Further and turn it into a successful creative career.

Important:
We really appreciate it if you can bring old magazines, newspapers, brochures and other similar paper material with interesting visuals and texts to use in your collage. It’s also a great way to make use of paper junk in the household! : )
Bringing your own craft materials of your choice - scissor, craft stationery and glue are also appreciated.
I will also bring some material for everyone to use.

Note: Due to limited seats and high participation request I request all interested participants to confirm their seat via email to asquareportal@gmail.com in addition to adding their RSVP on Meet-Up.
So you will need to do both.
The last date of confirmation is latest 1 day before the event.

About me & the Portal:
My name is Aavirash Mitra (Aavi), a Berlin based Graphic Designer, Illustrator & Animator, currently working as a Design Leader in the Creative Industry here in Germany.
I am also the creator of Asquareportal - a platform for creatives who want to learn skills in Visual Art and Visual Storytelling as well as develop a strong Creative Mindset and Practice in order to build a career, navigate and find success in the Creative Field.
