Details
After introductions and prayers, there will be a short talk about the history, folk practices and symbolism associated with this ancient festival. Participants are invited to share any relevant readings and prayers. There will be a wild-wood meditation for those who wish to take part, so please bring a cushion or mat if you prefer to sit on the floor. It is customary to ground yourself by eating and drinking after a path working session and a drink and snack will be provided.
The lore of tree and herb is an important part of this spiritual path and will be discussed at every meeting, together with a chat on one aspect of witchcraft so members can build on their knowledge. Please check this page closer to the date of the event for further details on the talks.
In order to recoup costs, a fee of £10 in cash is payable on entry. The Crone's Hearth is a lovely informal group which is not run for profit. I understand that sometimes, members can't make it at short notice due to ill health, family/work commitments or travel difficulties. Please just let me know so that I don't hold back the group waiting for your arrival. Due to the significant number of no shows at each event, coupled with the limitation on numbers attending, we have sadly had to introduce a policy of debarring no shows from booking on to other events.
