LITHA CELEBRATION

After the introductions and prayers, there will be a short talk about the history, folk practices and symbolism associated with the summer solstice, Litha. Our astrologer, Lisa, will give an update on what is happening in the skies between Litha and Lughnasadh. This will be followed by a wild-wood meditation for those who wish to take part. A drink and snack will be provided afterwards to ground yourself following the session.
There will also be a talk about Working with the Moon, one of the key correspondences in the Craft, followed by a short practical on calling the quarters.
In order to recoup costs, a fee of £15 in cash is payable on entry. The Crone's Hearth is a lovely informal group which is not run for profit (surplus funds are donated to a local wildlife charity at the end of the year). Given the high number of last minute cancellations or no shows in the past, we have introduced a cancellation fee of £10 for those received on the day and those who do not turn up on the day without letting us know are debarred from booking on to future events.
