The Crown & Collar Society is a curated social and experiential community for adults who value connection, curiosity, and intentional indulgence. Our goal is to bring together thoughtful, open-minded people who enjoy exploring culture, conversation, creativity, and personal expression in a sophisticated, welcoming environment.

We’re hoping to meet individuals and couples who appreciate depth over small talk, who enjoy meeting others beyond the usual networking scene, and who are interested in experiences that feel elevated, playful, and human. Whether you’re new to curated social spaces or simply looking for something more intentional, you’re welcome here.

Our events range from cocktail soirées, chef-led tastings, immersive workshops, and creative collaborations to intimate social gatherings designed to spark connection. Each experience is thoughtfully hosted, consent-forward, and focused on creating a relaxed atmosphere where people can show up as themselves and enjoy meaningful interaction.

    After countless requests from friends of the Society and those curious to learn more, we are delighted to introduce a new experience in 2026 designed to welcome fresh faces into our world while honoring the intimacy our members cherish.

    Join us for a casually elegant, public-facing evening held within closer reach of the greater DC metropolitan area, created for potential members, guests of our community, and anyone seeking a glimpse into the ethos that makes the Crown & Collar Society so distinctive.

    A moment of warmth and invitation, opening the evening with the spirit of connection that has shaped our Society since its inception.

    Our Story & Our Standards

    A brief, candid introduction to who we are, why we were created, and the principles that guide the experiences we curate. This is an opportunity for guests to understand the purpose, care, and discernment behind everything we do.

    Mingling & Conversation

    The heart of the evening. Guests are invited to meet our members, ask questions, and explore whether our values, rhythm, and vision resonate with their own. Thoughtful conversation, genuine connections, and a sense of belonging are the hallmarks of these gatherings.

    While open to the public, each Cocktail Soirée remains intentionally intimate. We believe that meaningful communities are built slowly, with care, and these evenings are our way of extending the first handshake.

    These events are open to active members, prospective members, and other like-minded individuals who have an interest in learning more about the Society.

    All attendees must purchase a ticket to attend.

    Your ticket includes entry, a welcome bubbly, and elegant charcuterie and cheese boards for grazing. Additional cocktails and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

    Getting There

    Our venue is located inside Kimpton Hotel Monaco Washington DC, directly across the street from the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro station, making public transportation the easiest and most convenient option.

    For those driving, valet parking is available at the hotel (approx. $35 + tax for short-term parking up to two hours; overnight parking is approximately $65 + tax). A nearby self-park option is Atlantic Parking – 560 8th St NW, located just across the street. Parking availability and pricing are managed independently by each provider and cannot be guaranteed.
