What we’re about
The Crying Room exists because too many of us carry heartbreak, grief, and loneliness alone.
Friends are often too busy, family may not be present, and most of us have been told to “hold it together.” But the weight doesn’t leave until it is released.
This space offers something older and simpler than therapy or coaching: the ceremony of being witnessed. Here, you don’t need to explain or be strong. For ninety minutes you can cry, speak, sit in silence, or even rest, while someone steady remains with you the whole time.
A candle is lit for each guest, holding the weight they bring. I watch over the body while the soul does its work, and when the time is complete, the flame is rested. Guests leave lighter, knowing they no longer carry it all alone.
The Crying Room is not about fixing. It is about presence, release, and renewal.
