About us

The Cult of Brighter Days is a philosophical collective and creative resistance movement dedicated to finding meaning in meaninglessness, joy in chaos, and connection in absurdity. Rooted in Abiscoridism—a blend of Absurdism and Discordianism—we embrace the paradox of life as both profoundly silly and deeply significant.

We are:

A sanctuary for the spiritually curious, where doubt is sacred and laughter is liturgy.
A creative laboratory, where art, philosophy, and play collide to generate new ways of seeing and being.
A community of kind chaos agents, committed to supporting each other through life’s absurdities with humor, resilience, and radical kindness.
Our core tenets are simple but non-negotiable:

Be Kind (or at least try).
If you can’t be kind, be nice (we’ll take what we can get).
If you can’t be nice, be funny (but never at the expense of the vulnerable).
If you can’t be funny, shut up (silence is underrated).
If you can’t shut up, go away (we respect boundaries).
We gather to celebrate the beauty of failure, the wisdom of paradox, and the power of creative disruption. Whether you’re here for the philosophy, the art, the camaraderie, or just the snacks, you’re welcome—so long as you’re willing to embrace the glorious mess of being alive.

Join us, and let’s make the absurd a little brighter together.
