Most of us are walking around wanting the same thing...real conversations with people we actually trust, about things that genuinely matter. Friendships that don't require pretending. Spaces where you can say what you actually think and still be welcomed back next time.
Those spaces are harder to find than they should be. So we started making one.
The Curious Krewe is a community built around one simple hunch: curiosity is how real connection starts. When we lead with questions instead of conclusions...when we stay genuinely interested in the story beneath someone's opinion instead of rushing past it... something shifts. People feel seen. Trust grows. Friendships form that can actually hold the weight of real life.
Also...It's just really fun to be curious about people. (Turns out humans are fascinating when you give them a little room to breathe.)
We hold that space together through what we call the Curious Code:

We gather in different ways... some gatherings more structured, some more open and social... but the same ethos runs through all of it. Find the one that fits where you are right now.

Learning Lately: Curious Krewe - May 2026 Gathering
Second Line Brewing, 433 N. Bernadotte Street, New Orleans, LA, USThis is the Curious Krewe's main monthly gathering...the one built around a single honest question that we sit with together. It tends to go a little deeper than most conversations you'll have this week. People share real things here. That's what makes it worth showing up to.
This month, we're getting curious about what we're learning lately:
"What's one thing you're currently learning about life, people, or yourself?"
Maybe it's something life is teaching you the easy way... or the annoying way. Maybe you're learning how to rest, how to speak up, how to let go, how to ask better questions, how to receive help, how to trust yourself, or how to stop touching the hot stove of your own patterns. Bring a lesson you're in the middle of learning... fully formed wisdom not required. We'll compare notes, keep it human, and see what kind of growth shows up when we admit we're all still figuring this thing out.
We hold that space together through what we call the Curious Code:

Here's how the evening flows:
- Doors open at 6:00 pm... plenty of time to grab food and a drink, find a seat, and settle in.
- At 6:30 pm we move into the discussion. You'll sit at a table with a small group... no more than six people... and together you'll explore the question of the evening. Everyone is welcome to share as much or as little as feels right. No pressure to perform or have it all figured out. Curious questions and honest listening are the whole game.
- We wrap up around 8 pm with a few closing words and a look ahead to the next gathering.
- Want to keep talking? Stay as long as you like.

Meet the Krewe is the Curious Krewe's monthly social gathering... low-key, low-pressure, and genuinely fun. No big topic. No agenda. Just good people, good drinks, and the kind of conversation that starts with "Wait, you love that too?"
This is the gathering where you come as you are and leave knowing a few more humans worth knowing. Whether you're brand new and just figuring out what the Krewe is all about, or you've been around a while and want to go deeper with people you've already met... there's a place for you at the table.
We hold that space together through what we call the Curious Code:

And if the conversation needs a little jump start, we've got question cards on the tables. Use them, ignore them, or let them take you somewhere unexpected. Either way, curiosity tends to show up on its own when the right people are in the room.
Here's what to expect:
- Doors open at 6:15 pm... come early, grab a drink, and find your people.
- We get going loosely around 6:30 pm... no gavel, no agenda, just good conversation finding its own rhythm.
- Every gathering features a surprise Curious Dip of the Month... because curiosity should always come with something worth dipping.
- Food on site. G's Pizza and Subway are within walking distance
- Drinks available at Second Line Brewing
- We wrap up loosely around 8 pm... but nobody's watching the clock.
This one's for everyone... first timers, regulars, and everyone in between.
