Mattering Most: Curious Krewe - June 2026 Gathering
Details
This is the Curious Krewe's main monthly gathering...the one built around a single honest question that we sit with together. It tends to go a little deeper than most conversations you'll have this week. People share real things here. That's what makes it worth showing up to.
This month, we're getting curious about what we're living toward:
"What do you most want to be remembered for? How are you living toward that right now?"
Maybe it's something big... or maybe it's the kind of thing that never makes a headline. Maybe you want to be remembered as someone who showed up, who made people feel less alone, who told the truth, who laughed easily, who loved the people in front of them well. Or maybe you're not sure yet... and that's worth sitting with too. The second half of the question is where it gets honest, because what we hope to be remembered for and how we actually spend our days don't always line up. Bring whatever you've got... a clear answer, a messy one, or just the gap between the two. We'll compare notes, keep it human, and see what shows up when we get honest about the lives we're actually building.
We hold that space together through what we call the Curious Code:
- Respect beats being right … always
- Make room for fun … it helps us connect
- Listen first ... more than you talk
- Respond with curiosity … questions before comments
- Gather the good … share what you learned
Here's how the evening flows:
- Doors open at 6:00 pm... plenty of time to grab food and a drink, find a seat, and settle in.
- At 6:30 pm we move into the discussion. You'll sit at a table with a small group... no more than six people... and together you'll explore the question of the evening. Everyone is welcome to share as much or as little as feels right. No pressure to perform or have it all figured out. Curious questions and honest listening are the whole game.
- We wrap up around 8 pm with a few closing words and a look ahead to the next gathering.
- Want to keep talking? Stay as long as you like.
Food? (Food vendor on site, G's Pizza, & Subway)
Drink? (Menu)
Judgment? Nope.
Curious and honest people? Absolutely.
This month's question was chosen by the community at our last gathering. Don't love it? You'll get a vote on next month's. Or better yet, send us a curious question you have that we could discuss!
Come be curious with us.
