What we’re about
Ever wondered why people think, feel, and behave the way they do? It's called having a theory of mind, and we all have one.
The Curious Mind is a friendly book club for anyone interested in psychology, human behaviour, and big ideas—no background in psychology needed!
Each month, we’ll dive into an easy-to-read book (non-fiction, memoirs, or popular science) that explores the mind and how it shapes our lives. Then we’ll come together to chat, share takeaways, and swap perspectives in a relaxed, welcoming space.
If you’re curious about people, love learning new things, and enjoy good conversation, this club is for you. Bring your questions, your thoughts, and your curiosity - no expertise required.
Here is a list of books I'm considering, among others.
Sure enough, the list is open to discussion, I would love to learn about books I haven't read or heard of.
Yes to Life: In Spite of Everything - Victor Frankl
Sociopath - Gagne Patric
Psych, the Story of the Human Mind - Paul Bloom
The Shallows, What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains - Nicholas Carr
The Experience Machine: How Our Minds Predict and Shape Reality - Andy Clark
Thank you, and see you there!
