Welcome to The Daily Grind: South Sound Authors & Writers Meetup! This group is for published authors, would-be authors, professional writers, hobbyist writers and anyone else looking to develop their writing skills. Whether you're interested in writing for film and television, children's books, non-fiction, novels, world-building, RPG writing, or just exploring your creativity through writing, this is the group for you.
We're in a small cafe (the smallest Starbucks in the South Sound) with low foot traffic and no drive-through, so it's a low-key environment that's always got chairs and tables available. The cafe's store manager is an aspiring writer, so you've got full support!
We're saving space for a weekly meeting for now, but sub-groups could meet more or less often as needed. We're sharing chapters, practicing reading out loud, talking about revisions and editing, sharing tips & resources (editors, publishers, agents), and helping everyone take actionable steps forward in their writing journeys.
