The Dancehall Sisterhood @ Brooklyn Museum First Saturday
Details
The Dancehall Sisterhood: Brooklyn Museum First Saturday (March 2026)
We’re meeting up for Brooklyn Museum’s First Saturday — a free, after-hours night with programming across the museum. We’ll use it as a low-pressure way to connect in person, then (optionally) head nearby after to keep the conversation going.
Important: tickets/registration
This event is free but requires registration through the Brooklyn Museum. Please grab your museum ticket as soon as it opens. Brooklyn Museum+1
Meet-up plan
- 5:30 pm — Meet outside the main entrance (I’ll message a specific “exact spot” + what I’m wearing the day before)
- 5:40 pm — Quick intros (name, neighborhood, favorite dancehall/reggae track right now)
- 6:00–7:15 pm — Explore + enjoy the night (you’re free to wander; we’ll stay loosely together)
- 7:15 pm — Optional: nearby tea/coffee/drink for anyone who wants to continue hanging
Bring
- Your museum ticket/confirmation (required) Brooklyn Museum
- Comfortable shoes
- A good vibe + 1 song you’re loving right now
Community vibe
Kindness and respect always. No selling/promoting services. Please respect privacy (no posting faces without consent). We follow museum rules.
RSVP note
Meetup RSVP helps me know who to look for — but your museum registration is what actually gets you in, so please do both
