Swing dance at the Dixieland night

Hi everybody, there is a Dixieland music with swing dance event at modernista bar on Sunday June 28, which was developed in New Orleans, is one of the earliest styles of jazz music. Dress up in 1920s style , a winner will be chose from the best costume.

Available for all level dance skills, so don't feel shy and join us with fun then. Fee: Free Entrance

Dixieland music sometimes referred to as hot jazz or early jazz, is a style of jazz music which developed in New Orleans at the start of 20th century.well known jazz standard songs from the Dixieland era, such as 'street blues' and 'when the saints go marching in'. Dixieland progressed to Chicago-style jazz or hot jazz as developed by Louis Armstrong and others. The latter was also a transition and combination of 2-beat to 4-beat, introducing swing in it's earliest form. 'Chicago style' musicians used the string bass instead of the tuba and guitar instead of the banjo to play a faster-paced.
