[Skills Lab] Setting Healthy Boundaries

Details

Do you ever say “yes” when you really want to say “no”? Or keep things vague to avoid creating conflict?

Boundaries are not necessarily harsh or distant — they’re about being clear. In dating and relationships, unclear boundaries often lead to resentment, mixed signals, or second-guessing yourself.

"Clear is kind. Unclear is unkind." — Brene Brown

In this Skills Lab, we’ll break down what boundaries actually are, how to communicate them clearly, and how to find the right balance between being too accommodating or too rigid.

---

What we’ll cover:
✅ What boundaries are and aren’t
✅ Signs yours might be too "rigid" or too "porous"
✅ How to state a need or limit clearly and respectfully
✅ What to do when someone pushes back

What to expect:
This is a skills-based learning and practice session — not therapy, not venting — with:

  • Brief teaching segments
  • Writing prompts for self-reflection
  • Live practice in breakout pairs
  • Tools and language you can apply right away

🎁 After the session, I'll email you a summary PDF with key takeaways, scripts, examples, and reflection prompts to help you keep practicing.
