About us
We are a collective of death doulas, end-of-life guides, funeral professionals, and grief guides offering compassionate support through one of life’s most sacred transitions.
With deep roots in tradition and an openness to what’s emerging, our network provides seamless care -from bedside to burial, from planning to parting. We believe in doing death differently - with intention, with care, and in ways that truly reflect a life well lived.
From lively gatherings like Death Cafe and Death over Drafts, to deep meaningful workshops that help to ease the conversation about death, dying and grief to workshops that help us integrate grief with yoga, creative writing and so much more - we are passionate about lifting the taboo about death, dying and grief!

Living with Grief - Guided Discussion and Support
South Park Yoga and Wellness, 2985 Beech St, San Diego, CA, USWe invite you to join us for a monthly gathering dedicated to exploring grief in all its complexity - gently, honestly, and in community.
This 90-minute session with Grief Coach Claudia Faerber offers a space for grief education, guided sharing, and meaningful connection. Together, we’ll explore a wide range of topics - from understanding the emotional and physical impact of grief, to navigating anxiety, redefining acceptance, building rituals, and even making space for hope, gratitude, and moments of joy along the way.
Grief is not linear, and neither are these conversations. Each gathering stands on its own while contributing to a larger, evolving understanding of what it means to live well while carrying loss, and how we can better care for ourselves and each other in the process.
Hosted by Grief Coach Claudia Faerber. All are welcome, wherever you are in your grief.
- RSVP is requested so we can prepare the space with intention.

Death Over Drafts - Temecula CA
Truffle Pig Winery, 34567 Rancho California Rd, Temecula, CA, USDeath Over Drafts: A Social Gathering on Life, Death & Everything In Between 💀🍻
At The Death Network, we believe conversations about death, dying, and grief belong out in the open not hidden behind closed doors. After building community throughout San Diego, we’re excited to head north and partner with Dr. Kaishauna Guidry from Mourning Dove Medical for a night of connection, curiosity, and really good conversation at Truffle Pig Winery. This isn’t a lecture or a workshop - it’s a laid-back evening to mix, mingle, grab a drink, and connect with people who aren’t afraid to talk honestly about life, loss, autonomy, and what matters most. And with a room full of end-of-life professionals, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask those lingering questions you’ve been carrying around but never knew where to ask. Check out the KPBS story on Death over Drafts in San Diego and, the LA Time Daily Pilot story from Death over Drafts Anaheim.
We’re honored to welcome special guest Dr. Kaishauna Guidry, who will help guide discussion around the importance of having a healthcare roadmap at the end of life. Families are often left feeling blindsided when they don't understand the progression of illness or what to expect in the months ahead. Dr. Guidry advocates for clear, compassionate communication about a person's changing health, functional abilities, cognition, nutrition, and care needs so families can make informed decisions and plan with greater confidence. A healthcare roadmap isn't about predicting the exact moment of death—it's about ensuring that care remains aligned with what matters most to the individual and their loved ones.
Whether you’re death-curious, navigating grief, supporting aging parents, planning ahead, or simply craving more meaningful conversation, Death Over Drafts is a welcoming space to pull up a chair and join the dialogue.
We hope you can join us!
