Join us at Singing Hills Memorial Park in El Cajon for dinner and discussion on Oct 22 6:00 pm. We'll be unpacking the role of a death doula at the end-of-life and how they help to fill the gaps often overlooked (or not offered) by hospice and funeral professionals.

At the end of life, things can feel fragmented and fast-moving—from selecting a hospice (there are approx 200 in San Diego!) to finding the right way to honor the deceased. A death doula brings organization, calm, and informed guidance to a time when decisions must be made quickly and resources may be limited. A death doula can help advocate for the dying and their wishes while creating a safe space for friends and family to honor their person in an authentic way. From providing educational support to planning a home funeral - a death doula can help you craft a personal, authentic end of life experience.
