Monthly Zoom | Hosted by The Death Network
Thinking about becoming a death doula? Just getting started? Or a few years into building your practice and realizing there's still a LOT to figure out?
You're not alone.
Death doula work isn't exactly a 9-to-5 job. It's more of a lifestyle. Building a practice means building relationships, finding your people, navigating the business side of things, and figuring out how to make it all work in a field that doesn't come with a traditional roadmap.
Join The Death Network founder and death doula Penny Waugh for an open, honest, and refreshingly real conversation about the ins and outs of death doula work.
Each month, Penny is joined by a rotating mix of Death Networkers who bring their own experiences, perspectives, and lessons learned to the conversation. No polished presentations or scripted answers here. Just authentic dialogue, shared experiences, and plenty of time to ask questions.
Some of the things we talk about:

  • Finding your people and building community connections.
  • Getting your name out there (without feeling like you're selling yourself).
  • Websites, social media, and figuring out where to focus your energy.
  • Networking, collaboration, and building relationships with other death-care professionals.
  • Setting your prices, talking about money, and making a living doing this work.
  • Navigating the unexpected twists, turns, and realities of running a death doula practice.

No lectures. No silly questions. No expectation that you have it all figured out.
Whether you're exploring the possibility of becoming a death doula or looking to grow and evolve an existing practice, pull up a chair and join the conversation.
Because this work is better when we're connected, sharing what we know, and learning from each other.
