Hi! The Decolonial Shelf is a new book club dedicated to centering voices from the Global South, the diaspora, and other marginalized communities through fiction and non-fiction reads.

This will be our first meeting, where we will get to know each other and choose our first book for September. You are welcome to bring your own suggestions! Books may be in English or German*.

How it works:
We read one book per month, then meet for a thoughtful, informal discussion. This is a new book club, so we’re shaping it together. Ideas are welcome!

Who it’s for:
Anyone interested in literature, social justice, decolonization, and anti-racist thinking. All backgrounds and levels of knowledge welcome.

* If there are people who don't speak German in the group, we will choose an English book or a German book that has an English translation.
