Discussion Night: Conversational Styles

Details
Tonight we will have discussion about two contrasting conversational styles. I have lately learned that there are two conversational styles that transcend neurotype: the quiet listening style and the interrupting style. When two people using the same conversational style talk, the conversation goes smoothly; when two people using different conversational styles talk, it can go roughly. Have you noticed this distinction before? Which conversational style do you feel most comfortable using? What are the strengths and weaknesses of each style in different contexts?
Join the Delian Club for this discussion in the Mayflower Room at the First Congretational Church of Ann Arbor. Enter through the door on William Street at 42°16'39.7"N 83°44'29.1"W. A beverage and some snacks will be provided.
This event is for autistic adults only.
