Details

This beautiful River Walk starts from the pretty Village of Over Haddon and follows the stunning River Lathkill, there is a rich variety of wildlife being a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

It joins a rocky limestone path into Cave Dale, a short ascent up rocky steps takes us up to join the Limestone Way.
The route continues over beautiful green pastures to the tiny Hamlet of Bradford, our path leads down to the stunning River Bradford.

The single arched bridge over the River Bradford is built of native limestone and lots of wildlife can be seen all along its path, including rare plants and herons are part of this special environment.

The riverside path passes the stone terraced gardens of the Village of Youlgreave, and reaching Alport Village, the River Bradford flows into the River Lathkill.

We follow the River until we join a path through woodland which takes us high above the Lathkill with stunning views..
The path over the meadows takes us back to Over Haddon where we started our beautiful walk..

During our walk, we make sure everyone is ok with catching up points and plenty of breaks along the way
As well as taking our time to enjoy the beauty of our surroundings
Enjoyment is first and foremost, as well as respecting slower walkers..

A fairly easy going walk along the River Lathkill and River Bradford along with a short climb up rocky steps into beautiful countryside with lovely views
