Kayak Day on Lake Washington — DINK Paddle (12 Spots)

Sunshine, open water, and good company — let’s get out on Lake Washington.

We’re meeting up at the Renton Rowing Center for an afternoon kayaking afternoon. Paddle along Gene Coulon Park, take a dip in the refreshing waters of Lake Washington, watch the planes take off from Boeing Field, or go on a nature tour to spot bald eagles, beavers, and blue herons — it’s the kind of easy, scenic afternoon that’s way better with a crew than solo.

Total beginners welcome — the equipment is all beginner-friendly and life jackets are provided . Glide out, soak up the lake, and float around together between paddles.

The event itself is free — you just cover your own kayak rental on the day. Pricing from the rowing center:

  • 🛶 Single kayak — $20/hour
  • 🛶 Tandem kayak (share with your +1) — $30/hour
  • 🏄 Stand-up paddleboard — $25/hour

One-hour minimum. Got a dog who loves the water? There’s a $5 dog fee you can add at reservation.

⚠️ Reserve your own kayak as soon as you RSVP. We’ve got 12 people heading out together, and spots on the water fill up — don’t wait and risk no equipment being available. Book directly here: **** → pick Saturday, July 19th at 2:00 PM, choose your kayak/SUP, and you’re set. RSVP here too so we know you’re in.
