How do you feel when you think about the climate and biodiversity crises? Do these thoughts and feelings ever affect the way you, a friend or a family member behaves or functions?

Building on a July discussion about the social psychology and behavioural science dimensions of climate change, the theme of this follow-up session will be the intersection of mental health with the climate and biodiversity crises. Together, we will explore: what are climate emotions? Why do they matter? And how can we respond to them?

Polly will lead this interactive session, drawing on insights from her master’s program in Environmental Psychology and her work as a researcher at the Turning Point Foundation for Mental Health and Sustainability.

NB: this session will not cover the environmental science behind climate change, taking the overwhelming scientific evidence for climate change as an accepted fact.

Bring wine/beer/drinks/food/snacks/whatever if you want to.
