Celebrating the Gods & Goddesses: Bragi

Join us Thursday 7/23 at The Dragon & The Rose, as we celebrate and honor Bragi, the Norse god of poetry, music, and… taunting!

🪉Bragi is the Æsir god known for his wisdom, and welcoming with his music the fallen warriors as they enter the halls of Valhalla. He is married to the goddess of youth and immortality, Iðunn, and is the son of Oðin and a Giantess. As a prominent god in the Viking Age, Bragi is strongly associated with oath-taking, welcoming the dead, bragging and taunting your enemies!

This class begins with a visual lecture on Bragi’s myth and archeological and lyrical history, and concludes with an interactive ceremony to connect with his energy.

This class is intended to teach who Bragi is and what he represents, NOT how to do magick with him, or “work” with him, or anything related to “closed secret” practice. Expect learning, reflection, deity connection, and shared sacred space with the gods and goddesses.
