Session 19: The Lair of the White Dragon

The party has scaled their way to the very top of the Icespire Peak, fighting bitter cold, biting wind and slippery slopes. But upon entering the keep's gate house, they discover that others have arrived before them. A large force of Orcs has returned to the halls of the hold that once belonged to them and also the four adventurers, Balos, Oinya, Finn and Keltus have arrived.
The end of a running battle has recently finished with the party finding nearly all the orcs defeated and only Finn of the other adventurers remaining alive.
With his last breath, Balos tells Sunny that glory-like luck -has eluded them and that they must not waste their time on the dead or the soon to join them but must confront Cryovain and see to the safety of Phandalin.
Finn, tells them to head up the stairs and then turns to hold their rear guard as terrific roar reverberates thru the keep. The ancient stone walls shake, dust and ice fall from the walls and the ground rolls beneath them.
Cryovain awaits....
