"Somewhere between the lines, fiction begins to ask who we are."

I have decided to add these series of Philosophy Through Fiction to our club to take upon a different topic each time that makes us dig deeper!

For this edition of Philosophy Through Fiction: Identity, we’ll gather to explore stories that quietly unravel the self. Novels where identity is shaped, fractured, performed, or forgotten.

This is a themed book club, so there’s no required reading.
Any book that walks us through exploring the human identity would fit the subject: through love and solitude, through memory and moral choice, through the tension between who we are and how we’re seen.

Bring along any classic (or favorite passage) that grapples with identity through story, from existential novels to introspective modern classics.
Bring your favorite quotes, reflections, or books to share! (Physical copies are always welcome for our group book photo tradition. ✨)

Expect an evening of thoughtful conversation, quiet revelations, and the pleasure of recognizing pieces of ourselves in fiction. 📖

P.S. I’ll reach out before the event to confirm attendance. Please cancel in advance if plans change so I can adjust the reservation accordingly.
