Drunken Historians' Society Presents: Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman!

Details
Drunken Scribes!
This October, our journey takes a sharp turn into the mischievous mind of a modern sage. We’ll be reading Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman! — the witty and irreverent memoir of Nobel Prize–winning physicist Richard P. Feynman. From cracking safes at Los Alamos to adventures in science, art, and beyond, Feynman offers stories that are as outrageous as they are insightful. Expect equal parts laughter, eyebrow-raising disbelief, and reflection on the strange ways brilliance meets everyday life.
You can grab your copy here: Amazon link.
As before, we’ll cap attendance at 20 participants to keep the conversation lively but manageable. There will be a waitlist, and dropouts are common, so don’t be shy about signing up. An entry fee of $5.00 goes toward tipping our server (separate from your tab). Payment can be made in person.
While this won’t be a themed night, playful nods to Feynman’s eccentricity are welcome — whether it’s a doodle on your napkin, a “safe-cracker’s” grin, or just a story of your own curiosity run wild.
