Neil McCoubrey is a photographer and former PhD researcher at Edinburgh Napier University whose work challenges traditional ideas of landscape photography. His images focus on man-made objects and human traces within natural settings, creating enigmatic juxtapositions that invite viewers to discover their own narratives. Drawing inspiration from Still Life traditions, Neilâs research explores how photographers make both conscious and intuitive decisions when choosing locations, subjects, and compositions.
