Details
This is one stretch of the Water of Leith that I haven't seen yet, so I'd like to walk along to St Bernard's Well, for a little dose of Stockbridge to lift my spirits.
The neoclassical rotunda was designed by painter Alexander Nasmyth in 1789, the figurine inside is the Greek goddess of health Hygeia.
Discovered in 1760, this natural spring was rumoured by the locals to have healing powers, an excellent source for people's health and well being.
Let's meet in Jubilee Gardens, the site of the Stockbridge Market at 1pm and we can head to Hector's pub for around 14:30 for drinks, chips, or whatever is good for what ails you!
