Getting out of town: Gosford House Grounds

A walk round the woodland grounds of Gosford House in East Lothian.

The beautiful grounds provide lots to shoot including a pond, ice house, lake with island and wildlife, a boat house and small weir/ waterfall as well as the lovely woodland paths. There are views of stately Gosford House itself across the gardens but it can only be photographed from a distance and we are not going in, or close to, the house.

Please note, on arrival, we will need to pay £1 each at the estate office for a day permit to enjoy access to the grounds. Please remember to bring a pound with you! 

We will meet in the car park next to the farm shop. If you can give a lift to someone else please add a comment, or if you would like a lift let us know.

When we are finished, we will head back along the coastline a little to Longniddry beach where we can enjoy the views from the beach and a cup of coffee the van.
