Historic City of Dunfermline

Details

An afternoon in the historic centre of Dunfermline, Scotland’s newest city and ancient capital.

We will meet outside the City Chambers then visit Dunfermline Abbey, Pittencrieff Park Park (known locally as the Glen) and Abbot House. Entry is free to the Abbey (voluntary donations) though you can book tickets in advance (also free) to ensure entry at:
https://www.historicenvironment.scot/visit-a-place/places/dunfermline-abbey-and-palace/overview/

We can either have a tea/coffee in the Abbot House cafe and garden at the end or head to one of the local Dunfermline pubs.
