Cramond Island

The meetup has been scheduled for low tide on 12 October. We will meet just at the start of the Cramond Causeway next to Cramond village at 11:00.

We will walk over the concrete causeway from Cramond village to Cramond Island to take photos. Photo opportunities include a row of concrete pylons which runs along the side of the causeway and was used as a submarine defence barrier in the Second World War. There are also great views of Edinburgh, the Forth Bridges and the Fife coast.
