📸 Event Overview
This October, we’ll explore House of the Binns, a National Trust for Scotland property that comes alive in autumn with fiery red leaves draping over its historic walls. The house sits within the rolling hills of West Lothian, surrounded by woodland, open pasture, and sweeping views across the Firth of Forth. From its grounds, you’ll spot Blackness Castle on the shoreline we visited last October. A short walk uphill through the woods leads to the Binns Tower folly is situated at the highest point of the estate offering a perfect vantage point for lone tree shots, West Lothian rolling hills and panoramic shots of the estuary. This promises to be a diverse outing of historic architecture, autumn colours, woodland and panoramic views — perfect for photographers of all levels and history buffs.
