Photowalk & Exhibition visit

For this meetup we will start off in the West End with a short photo walk to Modern Two, where we will visit the photography exhibition, Resistance (entry fee of £14 applies, concessions available, see gallery website for details).

Conceived by acclaimed artist and filmmaker, Steve McQueen, Resistance explores how acts of protest have shaped life in the UK and the powerful role of photography in documenting and driving change. Drawing from diverse public archives and personal collections, these photographs testify to the importance of the camera bearing witness.

We will meet outside Caffe Nero on the corner of Shandwick Place and Stafford Street, head through the West End and down to the gallery where we can take some photos in the grounds before going inside.

Afterwards we can head for a coffee or bar for a chat.

All photography enthusiasts welcome, regardless of your skill, gear or experience.
