Natural Light Portraits

Following on from Philip's great Eye/portrait photography MeetUp where we were encouraged to make portraits of strangers for this event we will buddy up to take available light portraits at a more considered pace. We will focus on placing the subject in the right location, considering the available light, background and posing the subject. Everyone should produce 3 different portrait photos: e.g. a headshot, a 3/4 length, a full length portrait and/or a wider scene with a more anonymous figure. Portraits can be taken within the museum or in the surrounding area. People will be buddied up on the day.

Buses: Lots of buses go along George IV bridge and South Bridge at either end of Chambers Street.

Afterwards from 2.30pm we will met in Doctors Bar on the corner of Forrest Road and Teviot Place for drinks and chips.
