This is a 60 minute somatic based workshop designed to help participants slow down, reconnect with their body, and better understand the patterns driving stress, overwhelm, anxiety, emotional shutdown, and disconnection.
The workshop blends guided somatic meditation, nervous system understanding and regulation, breathwork, gentle movement, and restorative yoga in a way that feels approachable, grounding, and safe for all levels.
We begin with grounding practices and guided breathwork to help participants settle into the body and regulate the nervous system. From there, I lead the group through a somatic meditation experience where participants begin noticing physical sensations, tension patterns, emotions, and the thoughts connected to them.
A large part of the workshop focuses on helping people understand how the nervous system shapes emotional patterns, stress responses, self criticism, overthinking, and the beliefs we carry about ourselves. The goal is not to “fix” anything, but to create awareness, safety, and reconnection within the body.
The restorative yoga and movement portion is intentionally gentle and supportive rather than performance based. It’s designed to help participants release stored tension, soften out of stress mode, and leave feeling more grounded and connected to themselves.
The overall tone is very calming, safe, reflective, and beginner friendly while still offering emotional depth and practical tools people can apply in daily life.
This is a good fit for people who are interested in yoga, healing, stress relief, nervous system work, mindfulness, emotional wellness, or simply slowing down and reconnecting with themselves in a deeper way.
