Are you an Empty Nester feeling isolated, alone and maybe even lonely? Do you struggle with the transition and have a hard time putting yourself out there? Do you wish you had more friends to do things with socially? If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, this group could be for you.
I am an Empty Nester seeking to design and create a group that will bring people in this life stage together for social interaction, social events, learning, mutual support, friendship, adventure and fun.
The group will evolve over time as we gain members interested in this club. I will also host some events via Zoom so those who do not live locally but want to participate feel supported.
This is a life stage that can be difficult to navigate and you don't have to do it alone. Join the group and let's get this going. I want to hear your ideas of what You want and need from this group so it can be designed to meet the needs of its members.
My vision is to gather for socially planned in-person events, discussions and Zoom events where we discuss how we are doing and share ideas.
It is my hope men and women will join and we build a community together.
