Improv Playground Porto

Curious about improv theatre, but not sure if it's for you? Come try it.

This is an open, beginner-friendly session where we'll explore the basics of improv through games, exercises, movement and spontaneous scenes.

There is no previous experience required, and the goal isn't to be clever, funny or impressive.

Instead, we'll practice some of the things that make improv work: listening, accepting offers, responding to what's actually happening, supporting each other, making choices without overthinking them, and becoming a little more comfortable with not knowing what comes next.

And yes — we'll probably be silly.

You can come because you want to get better at improv.

You can also come because you're curious, want to meet people, want more play in your life, or simply want to try something that feels a little outside your normal routine.

What to bring

Wear something comfortable that you can move in, bring water, and consider bringing something to sit on.

Most importantly, bring your curiosity and a willingness to play.
